Mary Walker was forced to take a big defeat against they on Saturday, they got the better of them on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 14-6 margin over the Odessa Tigers. The result was nothing new for the Chargers, who have now won five contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Mary Walker is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.0 runs over those games. As for Odessa, their loss dropped their record down to 1-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mary Walker will challenge Almira-Coulee-Hartline at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Warriors' pitching crew has only allowed 2.8 runs per game this season, so the Chargers' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
