Volleyball Recap: LeRoy-Ostrander Takes a Loss

LeRoy-Ostrander was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Dover-Eyota Eagles. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cardinals of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Maria Almaraz-Nolt paced LeRoy-Ostrander's offense, picking up three kills. Almaraz-Nolt got some help from Meah Stevens and her 12 assists.

LeRoy-Ostrander's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Dover-Eyota, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-2.

LeRoy-Ostrander has already played their next contest (against Alden-Conger), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Dover-Eyota, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Goodhue on the 6th.
