Softball Recap: Streator Falls Short of Lasalle-Peru in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Streator can now relate to. They came up short against the LaSalle-Peru Cavaliers on Tuesday, falling 9-0. The Bulldogs just can't catch a break and have now endured seven losses in a row.

Streator's defeat dropped their record down to 8-24. As for LaSalle-Peru, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 30-5.

As of now, neither Streator nor the Cavaliers have any future games scheduled.
