After losing to Bryan the last time they met, Patrick Henry decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Patriots walked away with a 5-1 win over the Golden Bears on Monday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Patriots.

Patrick Henry saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mason Jardine, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI. Grady McKee also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Patrick Henry's victory bumped their record up to 2-6. As for Bryan, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Patrick Henry will host Ayersville at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Bryan, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Liberty Center at 5:00 p.m.
