Softball Recap: Clifton Takes a Loss

Clifton fell victim to Troy and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 7-0 to the Trojans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-1 last Tuesday.

Clifton now has a losing record of 5-6-1. As for Troy, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 17-4.

Coincidentally, Clifton and Troy will both be playing McGregor the next time they take the field. Clifton will head out to face McGregor at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, while Troy will host them at 7:00 p.m. on April 8.
