Basketball Recap: Cahokia Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Taven Miller and Corrion Raiford + How To Watch

Cahokia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 73-63 to the Mascoutah Indians. If the Comanches were looking for revenge after losing 77-63 to the Indians when the teams met back in December of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Cahokia's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Corrion Raiford, who shot 55% from the field en route to 22 points along with five rebounds and three steals, and Taven Miller, who went 7-for-12 to rack up 17 points. C'narri Griffin was another key player, putting up nine points.

Cahokia's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Mascoutah, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-2.

Cahokia has already played their next contest (against Lift for Life Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Mascoutah, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Waterloo at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
