Calexico waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. Everything went their way against the Palo Verde Valley Yellow Jackets as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Bulldogs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Yellow Jackets, too.
The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-17, 25-12.
JOHANNA GALLEGO paced Calexico's offense, picking up 11 kills. GALLEGO got some help from JAZIELY SALAIS and her five assists. DANA LOPEZ controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.
Calexico's victory bumped their record up to 4-13. As for Palo Verde Valley, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-16.
