Baseball Recap: Crimson Cliffs Wins Going Away Against Cedar

Crimson Cliffs barely beat Cedar the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Mustangs blew past the Reds 13-3 on Wednesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Mustangs.

MASON ANDERSON looked comfortable as he tossed 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one hit in four consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Crimson Cliffs got a massive performance out of RYKER TAYLOR, who went 3-for-4 with three stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. TAYLOR is becoming a predictor of the Mustangs' success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 6-9 when he doesn't). Sam Chappell was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and one stolen base.

Crimson Cliffs kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in April of 2025.

Crimson Cliffs now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Cedar, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-10.
