The American Leadership Academy Patriots lost to the Arizona College Prep Knights two weeks ago, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Wednesday. American Leadership Academy managed a 53-47 win over Arizona College Prep. The win made it back-to-back wins for American Leadership Academy.
American Leadership Academy had a senior duo take command as Brooklyn Evans scored 23 points along with five rebounds and four steals and Chloe Hancock dropped a double-double on 12 points and 17 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Evans has scored all season. Brinlee Clouse was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with 11 rebounds.
Arizona College Prep's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Jaylee Aulds, who scored 14 points along with five rebounds, and Chloe Warren who scored 13 points.
American Leadership Academy's victory bumped their record up to 16-10. As for Arizona College Prep, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-15 record this season.
