Basketball Recap: Grace Academy Comes Up Short

Grace Academy lost against Heritage Academy back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Grace Academy Knights were beaten by the Heritage Academy Eagles 86-50. While losing is never fun, the Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Maryland basketball rankings (they are ranked 259th, while the Eagles are ranked 79th).

Grace Academy's loss dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Heritage Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 15 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-2 record this season.

Grace Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. We've got a battle between Eagles coming up. King's Christian Academy will need to watch out since Heritage Academy has now posted at least 55 points in their last nine contests.
