Baseball Recap: More Gets the Win

More posted their closest victory since April 18, 2024 on Monday. They had just enough and edged out the Design Tech Dragons 2-1. For the Knights, this counts as revenge for the 2-1 win the Dragons walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2024.

Sean Selway spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on six hits and racked up nine Ks. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in April of 2024.

At the plate, More's victory was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Vinny Selway, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

More is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. Design Tech's loss dropped their record down to 2-5.

More will have a chance to go back-to-back against Design Tech: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
