Father McGivney Catholic is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand Maryville Christian an 8-0 shutout. Winning may never get old, but Father McGivney Catholic sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

Their offense was hitting Maryville Christian from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Natalie Beck led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by herself.

Murphysboro typically has all the answers at home, but on Tuesday Gibault Catholic proved too difficult a challenge. They were the clear victors by a 4-0 margin over the Red Devils. The win made it back-to-back victories for Gibault Catholic.

Father McGivney Catholic pushed their record up to 23-1 with the win, which was their 12th straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 58 goals over those 12 contests. As for Gibault Catholic, their win bumped their record up to 13-8-2.
