Softball Game Preview: St. Charles North North Stars vs. Kenosha Bradford Red Devils

The St. Charles North North Stars will square off against the Kenosha Bradford Red Devils at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (St. Charles North 3.2, Kenosha Bradford 1.3) so any runs scored will be well earned.

St. Charles North is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Glenbard North just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Thursday. They took an 8-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers.

Addy Umlauf was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Ivy Gleeson, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI.

Meanwhile, Kenosha Bradford waltzed into their contest on Wednesday with nine straight wins... but they left with ten. They never let the Wolverines get on the board and left with a 4-0 win. Four seems to be a good number for the Red Devils as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of runs in their previous game.

St. Charles North's defeat dropped their record down to 19-6. As for Kenosha Bradford, they pushed their record up to 20-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road.
