Volleyball Recap: Tustin Comes Up Short

Tustin lost against Irvine back in August of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Tillers fell just short of the Vaqueros by a score of 2-1. The Tillers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Tustin sadly dropped the once that decided the match. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 15-25, 15-9.

Tustin's loss dropped their record down to 10-18. As for Irvine, their victory ended a 12-match drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 4-15.

Tustin will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Northview at 1:00 p.m. As for Irvine, they will venture away from home to face off against Woodbridge at 5:15 p.m. on Monday.
