            Basketball Recap: Cumberland Christian Crusaders vs. Solid Rock Christian School Swordsmen        
        
		
        
        
            Cumberland Christian unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They had to suffer through a   62-24 loss at the hands of the Solid Rock Christian School Swordsmen. The Crusaders just can't catch a break and have now endured 15 defeats in a row dating back to last season.
 Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Solid Rock Christian School to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Silas Bradbury, who  went 5 of 10  en route to 12  points along with seven  rebounds and four  steals. Those seven  boards gave  Bradbury a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Drew Reese, who  went 5 of 7  on his way to 11 points and five  rebounds.
 Cumberland Christian will venture away from home to  take on Concord Christian Academy  at 5:15  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Solid Rock Christian School, they will be taking part in a tournament against Veritas Christian Academy  at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday. Veritas Christian Academy's defense has only allowed 28.1  points per game  this season, so Solid Rock Christian School's offense will have their work cut out for them.
