After a string of five wins, Maroa-Forsyth's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell 6-1 to the St. Joseph-Ogden Spartans. The Trojans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Spartans apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Maroa-Forsyth's defeat dropped their record down to 15-6. As for St. Joseph-Ogden, the victory (which was their 18th in a row) raised their record to 24-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Maroa-Forsyth will take on Riverton at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Trojans are facing the Hawks at the right time seeing as the Hawks are stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for St. Joseph-Ogden, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Monticello at 4:30 p.m.
