Soccer Recap: Dixie Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Strom Thurmond, Dixie was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Belton-Honea Path Bears by a score of 5-3. The Hornets have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bears, too.

Dixie hit Belton-Honea Path with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Joshua Beiler (2), Jayden Martin (2), and Drew Biggerstaff.

Dixie's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dixie will head out to take on Newberry at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Newberry's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Belton-Honea Path, they will head out on the road to challenge Seneca at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
