Redwood and Benicia squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Redwood had to settle for second. They fell 9-5 to the Panthers. The Giants' defeat signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.

Redwood saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Miles Harrison, who went 2-for-3 with one run.

Redwood's loss dropped their record down to 18-9-1. As for Benicia, they pushed their record up to 17-8 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road.

Redwood does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Benicia, they will square off against Foothill on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Panthers 3.8, the Falcons 2.6) so any runs scored will be well earned.
