Football Recap: Elma Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Elma lost against Sequim back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Eagles took a hard 49-30 fall against the Wolves. While the Eagles had to settle for second, they closed the game well in the third quarter, where they outscored the Wolves 16-7.

Despite the loss, Elma still got an impressive performance from Colt Landstrom, who picked up 187 receiving yards and one touchdown, and also punched in one score on the ground. Landstrom showed off some serious burst, cutting upfield on a catch for 63 yards.

Ezekiel Schmadeke had an outrageously good game for Sequim as he picked up 60 receiving yards and a pair of TDs, and also rushed for 37 yards and one touchdown.

Elma now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Sequim, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Looking ahead, Elma will be playing at home against King's at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Sequim, they will head out on the road to face off against Port Angeles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Wolves' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
