Volleyball Game Preview: Nemaha Central Thunder vs. Silver Lake Eagles

After both having extra time off, the Nemaha Central Thunder and the Silver Lake Eagles will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Tuesday, Nemaha Central earned a 2-0 win over St. Marys.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Nemaha Central took both sets by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-4, 25-15.

Meanwhile, Silver Lake had already won 23 in a row and they went ahead and made it 24 on Tuesday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Kaws.

Silver Lake never let Perry-Lecompton on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-18.

Nemaha Central's win bumped their record up to 18-15. As for Silver Lake, their victory bumped their record up to 34-1.
