Recap: Keystone Wildcats vs. Norwalk Truckers

It was a good run, but the Keystone Wildcats unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell 56-47 to Norwalk. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Keystone has scored all season.

When it comes to explaining why Keystone lost, one person who can't be blamed is Grant Hartley. Despite the final result, he scored 20 points along with six steals. The game was Hartley's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Logan Nagle, who scored 11 points along with nine rebounds.

Keystone struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only three offensive rebounds. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.

Keystone's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Norwalk, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.

Keystone will wrap up 2023 with a road trip to face off against Steele at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Norwalk will finish 2023 at home by hosting Bellevue at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Bellevue presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Norwalk in Ohio (Bellevue is ranked 91st, while Norwalk is ranked 309th).
