Football Preview: A&M Consolidated Tigers vs. Lehman Lobos
The A&M Consolidated Tigers are taking a road trip to take on the Lehman Lobos at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. A&M Consolidated knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 31 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Lehman likes a good challenge.
Last Friday, A&M Consolidated didn't have quite enough to beat Anderson and fell 42-40. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game back in September (38), the Tigers still had to take the loss.

Despite the defeat, A&M Consolidated got top-tier performance from Holt Goodwin, who threw for 238 yards and three TDs, and also punched in one score on the ground. 108 of Goodwin's passing yards were hauled in by Cooper Johnson.

Lehman's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for A&M Consolidated, their loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 3-2.
Everything came up roses for A&M Consolidated against Lehman in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 77-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
