Cottage Hill Christian Academy was sadly handed a defeat on Thursday, but Kyle Arguello did his best to prevent it. Arguello wasn't messing around, pitching 6.1 innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off eight hits. The pitching appearance was his fourth straight with two or fewer walks.

Looking ahead, Arguello and Cottage Hill Christian Academy will square off against McGill-Toolen at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The last time Arguello duked it out with McGill-Toolen (back in March of 2024), Cottage Hill Christian Academy came out on top by a score of 3-2.
