Basketball Game Preview: DeSmet Bulldogs vs. Colman-Egan C-E Hawks

The DeSmet Bulldogs will square off against the Colman-Egan C-E Hawks at 6:15 p.m. on Friday.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 59-32, which was the final score in DeSmet's tilt against Sioux Valley on Tuesday. The match marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, Colman-Egan had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 31.6 points) and they went ahead and made it eight on Tuesday. They strolled past the Warriors with points to spare, taking the game 54-39.

Colman-Egan has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.4 points per game. As for DeSmet, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-5.
