Bristol-Plymouth RVT fell victim to Diman RVT and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bengals. The matchup marked the first time this year in which the Craftsmen were not able to get on the board.

Gabrianna Arrighi was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: she struck out six batters over six innings while giving up three earned runs off six hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in eight consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Bristol-Plymouth RVT saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bree Aldrich, who went 2-for-4 with one double.

This is the second loss in a row for Bristol-Plymouth RVT and nudges their season record down to 10-3. As for Diman RVT, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-6.
