Softball Preview: Madeira MUSTANGS/AMAZONS vs. Reading Blue Devils

Madeira hasn't had much luck against Reading recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The MUSTANGS/AMAZONS will venture away from home to challenge the Blue Devils at 5:00 p.m.

Madeira came up short against Taylor on Wednesday, falling 13-1. The MUSTANGS/AMAZONS have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Reading got the win against Deer Park on Wednesday by a conclusive 18-4. The result was nothing new for the Blue Devils, who have now won five matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Kotah Brisbin made a splash while hitting and pitching. She pitched five innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits. Brisbin was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while getting on base in two of her four plate appearances.

In other batting news, Reading let Lillie Riedmiller and Brooke Androne run wild.
