Recap: Miami Wardogs vs. Cleveland Tigers

The Miami Wardogs had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 35 points), and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They blew past Cleveland, posting a 49-0 victory at home. Considering Miami has won four matches by more than 33 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Miami was led to victory by Sam Lillard and Hunter Nichols. Lillard rushed for 104 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries, while Nichols rushed for 154 yards and three touchdowns on only nine carries. Nichols is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in the last four games he's played.

Miami's victory was their third straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 6-3. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 48.7 points per game. As for Cleveland, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.

Miami will head out on the road to face off against Wagoner at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Wagoner is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling. As for Cleveland, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Catoosa at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
