Opposing passers better start keeping an eye on Jaxx Willey: he recorded his first sack on Friday and we're guessing he's looking for more. He picked up two sacks and made four total tackles as Nonnewaug/Lakeview/Shepaug Valley took down Plainfield 28-12. We hope Willey's good performance is the first of many we'll see posted here on MaxPreps.com.

Looking ahead, Willey and Nonnewaug/Lakeview/Shepaug Valley will take on Wilcox Tech/Kaynor RVT at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Wilcox Tech/Kaynor RVT will enter the matchup having just beaten Cheney Tech, so Nonnewaug/Lakeview/Shepaug Valley will have to guard against a team looking to keep the ball rolling.
