Basketball Game Preview: Merrill Vandals vs. Coleman Comets

Merrill and Coleman are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2021, but not for long. The Merrill Vandals will be playing at home against the Coleman Comets at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Last Wednesday, Merrill lost to St. Charles on the road by a 52-35 margin.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Coleman). They walked away with a 56-47 victory over Montabella on Wednesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Comets.

Merrill now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Coleman, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Merrill was able to grind out a solid win over Coleman in their previous matchup back in February, winning 57-49. Will Merrill repeat their success, or does Coleman have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
