Volleyball Recap: Westwood Victorious

Westwood won the last time they faced Desert Ridge and things went their way on Saturday too. The Warriors walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Jaguars. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Warriors.

Their offense was headlined by Silas Bowlby and Cole Goforth, who picked up four kills apiece. They got some help from Jack Carpenter and his ten assists. Joseph Washington controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Westwood's win bumped their record up to 15-7. As for Desert Ridge, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-12.

Coincidentally, Westwood and Desert Ridge will both be playing Higley the next time they take the court. The Warriors will head out to face the Knights at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Jaguars will head out to face them at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
