Volleyball Recap: Littleton Snaps Five-Game Streak of Losses at Home

Littleton won the last time they faced Pomona and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Lions walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Panthers.

Littleton had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 20-25, 25-20, 26-24, 25-21.

Littleton can attribute much of their success to Addy Giles, who had 23 digs. Those 23 digs gave Giles a new career-high.

Littleton's win ended a five-match drought at home and bumped them up to 11-11. As for Pomona, their loss dropped their record down to 4-18.

Coming up, Littleton will host Wheat Ridge at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Lions are facing the Farmers at the right time seeing as the Farmers are stuck on an 11-game losing streak. As for Pomona, they will face off against D'Evelyn at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
