Basketball Game Preview: Elsie Allen Lobos vs. Roseland University Prep Knights

The Elsie Allen Lobos will take on the Roseland University Prep Knights in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Elsie Allen is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 55 points on Tuesday, they were much more limited against Santa Rosa on Wednesday. They were beaten by the Panthers 62-19. The loss continues a trend for the Lobos in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now lost eight in a row.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Roseland University Prep). They breezed by Victory Christian Academy to the tune of 62-24 on Tuesday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Knights as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.

Elsie Allen's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Roseland University Prep, their win ended a nine-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-6.

Everything went Elsie Allen's way against Roseland University Prep in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, as Elsie Allen made off with a 61-39 victory.
