Basketball Recap: SEED Skates Past Central with Ease

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask SEED). They blew past the Central Falcons 55-12 on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for SEED.

SEED was led to victory by Kahmani Gaither and Morgan Jackson. Gaither posted 24 points, while Jackson scored 23 points and seven rebounds. With that strong performance, Jackson is now averaging an impressive 16 points per game.

SEED's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Central, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-6.

SEED won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Maryvale Prep at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Central, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Fairmont Heights at 6:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
