Tucker Holton was a major factor in Cherokee Bluff's victory over Jefferson on Friday. Holton did his part (and then some), striking out six batters over 2.1 innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off two hits (and not a single walk) for the 'W'. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than two hits in five consecutive appearances.

Holton's strong effort led Cherokee Bluff over Jefferson and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
