Soccer Recap: China Spring Falls Short of Taylor in the Playoffs

China Spring and Taylor squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but China Spring had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Ducks by a score of 2-1. Having soared to a lofty eight goals in the game before, China Spring couldn't push the score so high this time.

Their goal came courtesy of Zoe Doyle, who's now up to 14 this season.

China Spring has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-8-2 record this season. As for Taylor, they pushed their record up to 18-6 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home.

China Spring does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Taylor, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-3 defeat against Needville on the 25th.
