Basketball Recap: Pendleton Comes Up Short

Pendleton lost against Hart County back in December of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Pendleton Bulldogs were outmatched by the Hart County Bulldogs and fell 79-52. Pendleton has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, Pendleton saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Samuel Ross posted 15 points.

Pendleton's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Hart County, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-3.

Pendleton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 54-42 loss against Wade Hampton on the 28th. Hart County has also already played their next game, a 69-57 victory against Elbert County on the 28th.
