Volleyball Game Preview: NCSSM: Morganton Dragons vs. Sugar Creek Charter Wildcats

The NCSSM: Morganton Dragons will head out to square off against the Sugar Creek Charter Wildcats at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

NCSSM: Morganton lost 3-0 to Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy last Thursday.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-14, 25-8.

Meanwhile, Sugar Creek Charter came up short against Piedmont Community Charter on Thursday, falling 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-4, 25-17.

NCSSM: Morganton's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Sugar Creek Charter, they dropped their record down to 2-13 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Everything went NCSSM: Morganton's way against Sugar Creek Charter in their previous meeting back in September, as NCSSM: Morganton made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Dragons since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
