Basketball Recap: Sheldon Triumphs

On Monday, the Sheldon Panthers earned a 41-31 victory over the Purdy Eagles. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Panthers.

Sheldon now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Purdy, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Sheldon Panthers challenge the Weaubleau Tigers at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Sheldon is facing Weaubleau at the right time seeing as Weaubleau is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Purdy, they will head out on the road to square off against Verona at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
