Coronado waltzed into their matchup on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Plainview Bulldogs. That's more bragging rights for the Mustangs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Coronado walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-13, 21-25, 25-22.

Coronado now has a winning record of 15-14. As for Plainview, they dropped their record down to 8-15 with the defeat, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Coronado will challenge rival Caprock at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Plainview is set to square off against their familiar foe Lubbock at 6:00 p.m. on the 23rd.
