Greene County extends home winning streak to seven

Recap: Greene County Tigers vs. Warren County Screaming Devils

The Greene County Tigers entered their tilt with the Warren County Screaming Devils with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. Greene County skirted past Warren County 48-46. This was payback for Greene County, who suffered a 49-43 loss the last time these two teams met.

Several Screaming Devils players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Courtney Bray, who scored 17 points along with three steals. Bray has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last five times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Alecia Tucker, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 12 rebounds.

Greene County's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-9. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.4 points per game. As for Warren County, their loss dropped their record down to 14-5.

Lincoln County will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings (they are ranked 449th, while Warren County is ranked 148th).
