Baseball Game Preview: South Stanly Rowdy Rebel Bulls vs. Mount Pleasant Tigers

The South Stanly Rowdy Rebel Bulls will head out to take on the Mount Pleasant Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with South Stanly sitting on eight straight wins and Mount Pleasant on four.

Last Friday, South Stanly made easy work of Gray Stone Day and carried off a 14-2 victory. The result was nothing new for the Rowdy Rebel Bulls, who have now won six contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Mount Pleasant never let their opponents score on Friday. Everything went their way against Albemarle as Mount Pleasant made off with a 10-0 win. The Tigers are also no stranger to big wins: their blowout was the fourth game they've won by 6+ runs this season.

South Stanly's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-1. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Mount Pleasant, their victory bumped their record up to 8-2.
