Volleyball Recap: Chautauqua Lake Continues Road Dominance on Monday

Chautauqua Lake won the last time they faced Olean and things went their way on Monday too. The Eagles walked away with a 3-1 win over the Huskies.

Chautauqua Lake walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the third set). The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 23-25, 25-15, 25-21.

Brina Jacobson paced Chautauqua Lake's offense, picking up 11 kills. Jacobson got some help from Karagan Fairbank and her 30 assists. Fairbank was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Chautauqua Lake pushed their record up to 22-7-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Olean, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-3.

Looking ahead, Chautauqua Lake will host Gowanda at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Olean, they will venture away from home to take on Dunkirk at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
