Volleyball Game Preview: Alpha Academy Timberwolves vs. Riverside Christian Academy Royals

Alpha Academy hasn't had much luck against Riverside Christian Academy recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Timberwolves will host the Royals at 5:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Alpha Academy is headed into the matchup having just suffered their biggest defeat since August 29th on Tuesday. They lost 3-0 to Wayne Preparatory Academy. Considering the last time the Timberwolves couldn't score was back in August, the team can't take the result too hard.

The final score came out to 25-10, 25-16, 25-10.

Meanwhile, Riverside Christian Academy didn't have quite enough to beat Ascend Leadership on Tuesday and fell 3-2. While the Royals didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Aviators 25-20 in the first set.

Riverside Christian Academy took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The match finished with set scores of 20-25, 25-21, 18-25, 25-19, 15-4.

Riverside Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Alpha Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-4.
