Basketball Recap: Pepperell Comes Up Short

Pepperell lost against Chattooga back in November and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Pepperell Dragons took a hard 58-41 fall against the Chattooga Indians. While losing is never fun, the Dragons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 389th, while the Indians are ranked 191st).

Pepperell has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season. As for Chattooga, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-2.

Pepperell will host Trion at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Chattooga, they will head out to square off against Gordon Lee at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Gordon Lee will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Chattooga surely won't give up without a fight.
