Basketball Game Preview: Legion Collegiate Academy Lancers vs. Cannon Cougars

The Legion Collegiate Academy Lancers and the Cannon Cougars will round out the year against one another at at 11:30 a.m. on Monday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Saturday, Legion Collegiate Academy came up short against Piedmont and fell 59-51.

Meanwhile, after a string of six wins, Cannon's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell 94-82 to Lancaster. While losing is never fun, the Cougars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 139th in North Carolina, while the Bruins are ranked fifth in South Carolina).

Legion Collegiate Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Cannon, they now have a losing record at 6-7.
