Volleyball Recap: Corliss Comes Up Short

Corliss was the 2-1 winner over Englewood Stem when they last played one another back in May of 2021, but their luck changed this time around. The Trojans fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 2-1 on Wednesday. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Corliss started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-21, 25-18.

Corliss' loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Englewood Stem, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-4.

Corliss has already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Richards on the 5th. Englewood Stem has also already played their next contest (against Harlan), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
