There's no place like home for Gardner-South Wilmington, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They walked away with a 64-52 win over the Donovan Wildcats on Friday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 60-53 back in January.

Despite the loss, Donovan still got an impressive performance from Brendan Hennieke, who almost dropped a double-double with 19 points and nine rebounds. Another player making a difference was Braden Klecan, who posted five points along with six boards and five steals.

Gardner-South Wilmington's victory bumped their record up to 6-22. As for Donovan, they dropped their record down to 5-20 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Gardner-South Wilmington will look to defend their home court on Monday against Iroquois West at 7:00 p.m. As for Donovan, they have already played their next game, a 79-73 win against Kankakee Trinity Academy on the 15th.
