While Kinston put up plenty of runs on Monday, the same can't be said for Florala. The Bulldogs were the clear victors by a 15-0 margin over the Wildcats. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 18 games by six runs or more this season.

Kinston pushed their record up to 25-7 with the victory, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.9 runs on average over those games. As for Florala, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-4.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Kinston beat the Wildcats by a score of 16-0 later that day.
