Oxon Hill extends home winning streak to 15

Recap: Oxon Hill Clippers vs. Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North Tigers

The Oxon Hill Clippers stacked an eighth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North 80-6 at home. With Oxon Hill ahead 46-2 at the half, the match was all but over already.

Oxon Hill's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Aaliyah Conteh led the charge by scoring 23 points along with seven steals and two blocks. That's the first time this season that Conteh posted two or more blocks. Another player making a difference was Madison Williams, who scored 17 points along with eight rebounds and six steals.

Oxon Hill pushed their record up to 11-4 with that win, which was their 15th straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.1 points per game. As for Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-5 record this season.

Oxon Hill will look to defend their home court on Monday against Friendly at 6:00 p.m. Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North's road trip will continue as they head out to face Central at 6:00 p.m. on January 29th.
