On Tuesday, Salpointe Catholic faced Walden Grove in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Salpointe Catholic Lancers narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Walden Grove Red Wolves 1-0. Give the Lancers' defense some credit: that's the team's fifth straight shutout.

Salpointe Catholic is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-2-2 record this season.
